Football Meets Platforming
Homefield Hero is a 2D platformer built around one simple idea: the ball has to make it through the level with you.
Run, jump, dribble, slide and shoot your way across football grounds inspired by real amateur clubs. At the end, there is only one way to finish: put the ball in the goal.

The Ball Changes Everything
This isn’t a football match and it isn’t a league simulation. The ball is part of the platforming itself. It rolls, bounces and rebounds from the world around it, so every shot can change what happens next.
Move
Run, jump and slow down when precision matters. Sliding gives you another way to deal with the world around you.
Control the Ball
Dribble it, shoot it or send it into the air with a lob. Power and angle matter when you need to get the ball past an obstacle.
Reach the Goal
Getting the player to the end isn’t enough. The level is only complete when the ball reaches the goal too.
Lose the Ball? Keep Playing.
If the ball disappears from the level, it returns to the position of your last shot. A parachute brings it back into play – but losing it costs you a hit point.
That makes every shot a small decision: push forward, or play it safe?

Not Every Obstacle Plays Fair
The levels aren’t empty football pitches. Animals, hazards and other obstacles get in your way. Some simply block your path. Others can cost you valuable hit points – including a yellow card that literally comes flying at you.
Different Clubs, Different Grounds
Participating amateur clubs can receive their own levels. Club colors, crests, banners, corner flags and details from the real ground shape the look of each one. Grass, artificial turf and classic ash pitches can all become part of Homefield Hero.
More ideas are planned as development continues, including additional challenges, collectibles, weather effects and different ways to replay levels.
